Dress code for the Day of the Dead: Catrinas and Dandies
The dress code for the special event on the 1st of November at Paradiso are Catrinas and Dandies:La Calavera Catrina is a staple of Mexican imagery. Originally it was an etching by Mexican printmaker José Guadalupe Posada made in 1913. The word catrina is the feminine form of the word catrin, which means elegant. She wears a fashionable dress and hat of the time. Her companion is a Dandy.
