Stubbornly, he decides to hold his hunger until he finds a turkey that he can eat by himself. His wife steals one and Macario goes out into the woods to eat it. There he refuses to share it with God and with the Devil and only does so when Death appears in front of him. Thankful, Death hands Macario a blessing water with which the farmer will start to realize miracles. |
