A man is stranded in the midst of an arid and lonely highway. He goes into the desert to look for help and starts to see mirages. Increasingly overcome by heat and thirst, he struggles to maintain his link to reality and get out of there; but the desert, like a living being, disorients him and confuses him with simulations that resemble reality more and more.


Beyond the Mexican Bay

María sells necklaces. One day, a foreigner asks her to take him to the desert. The journey turns into a contemplative ritual that brings out the loneliness and feelings of two people, despite the differences in their ages, language and culture.
